ChildLine This comprehensive site offers a wealth of information on topics related to the safety and security of young people.

maple leafCops for Kids Safety has been develped by the Canadian Police Association to help educate students in Grades 1 and 2 and their parents about bullying awarenss, Internet and stranger safety.

Students, parents and educators will benefit from the wealth of resources on this Canadian site - Bullying.org. Young people are encouraged to share their stories, poems, music, films and art work. The site also includes a bullying support e-mail list. This excellent site offers a comprehensive directory of resources on bullying prevention. It includes websites, books, films, video, policies, programs and projects. The damaging effects of bullying can be life-long. >

This Canadian website, BullyBeware.com is an excellent resource on bullying information, trends, resources, statistics and products. 

Focus Adolescent Services offers a vast array of information on topics related to the well-being of young people. The article on bullying is excellent. It outlines definitions, statistics, characteristics of bullies and victims, as well as the consequences of bullying. Books and intervention programs are recommended. The article also lists a number of sites related to the topic of bullying.

Northwest Regional Educational Library  (USA) has compiled a series of reports on bullying prevention programs. The central elements of effective programs are identified.

National Resource Center for Safe Schools (Portland, OR) has put together some brief, useful information on the recognition and prevention of bullying.   

London, Ontario Family Court has compiled this useful package of information for parents, teachers, and school administrators. The authors cover a wealth of material on bullying, including common definitions, dynamics, prevalence, causes, consequences and gender differences.
